MPPSC State Civil Services examination: Exam date postponed
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) had earlier released a notification for the State Civil Services Exam 2015 on their official website. The examination was earlier scheduled to take place on December 20. Now the dates have been postponed and the exam will take place on January 24, 2016.
The registration for the same started yesterday, i.e on November 5 and will conclude on December 4.
- qualification: The candidates applying for the examination should have acquired a graduation or post-graduation degree from any recognised university.
- Age limit: The candidates applying for the examination should be minimum 18 years of age and maximum 30 years of age.
Examination pattern: The MPPSC State Civil Service Examination is conducted in three phases- preliminary, mains and interview. The candidates who qualify for preliminary examination become eligible for mains examination and the interview. The candidates who are not from Madhya Pradesh are also eligible for the examination.
How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination through the official website of the commission. The link for which is www.mppsc.nic.in.
The residents of Madhya Pradesh are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 and candidates of other states are required to pay an application fee of Rs 5,000.
Selection process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary exam, main examination, and personal interview.
